London 15/10/11

Hello again Guys!

Well last weekend was our 3 month anniversary, so I arranged a surprise trip to London! I had a pretty good day, and I am pretty sure Sarah did too! We had a lil' walk around Camden Market and had a lovely individual try and sell us drugs and got evacuated from Euston Tube Station! (All within the first hour of us arriving!) Which frankly I found pretty amusing! Oh and Wales got knocked out of the Rugby World cup too that day, mwahahahahaha!

So after some shopping in Camdem, we went for a walk through some Gardens on the embankment and I decided to practise my photography skills! Forgive me but I think Saz is beautiful :)

So after my picture session we made it to the National Museums and had a little look aroubd. Never realised how much Saz liked science! (And yeh I have renamed Sarah haha!) And then we headed out to Kensington and had dinner in an Italien Restraunt (My favourite).

So yes, this was our day out. I had a wonderful time and I know Sarah did too, she then stayed at mine and we spent the Sunday down at the Rugby ground. Loved our day out together, was nice to do something a bit special!

 Love ya Saz!

:)

Hi Guys!

Well.my friends have been bugging me for neglecting my blog, so I shall do some updating! Well me and Saz are still together and happy! We had a lovely time last weekend, I watched my baby fall asleep in my arms, it was amazing, I loved the feeling that I could protect her from anything. And I would.

This weekend was also great fun! On Saturday we went on a group canoe trip with a load of mates for about 12 miles down the Nene! She loved the spiders in the boat.. not! We had a lovely out of tune 2 hour sing-along and I might have crashed the boat... oops! (Oh, and she also renamed me 'H'.. God knows why! But I now respond to it lol)
Then on Sunday I had a rugby game, so Saz came along to watch me play, and her sis, our nephew and her sis's 'friend' turned up too :) Had a lovely time (we won as well and I scored twice!) at the club and then went back to mine, had a lil' photo sesh with the nephew. The extended family then left and me and Saz settled down and watched a film together, it was a lovely day! :D

Love this picture! Everyone reckons we should have kids!

68 Days - Anniversary

Hey Everybody!

Just a quick update. Last week was our anniversary (2 months, I know it is sad we keep track!) But anyways. Seeing as I was unable to see Sarah, I thought I would send her a little surprise at Sixth Form! Me being me decided to send a bouquet of flowers with two roses, just to let her know how much I missed her. However, one of the roses was artificial. The card read ' I will love you until the last flower dies'. Sorry for the total cheesiness there! After enlisting the help of Sarah's best mate, I got a photo of said flowers with the receiver!

Lovely smile babe! :P

So after total embaressment and everyone discussing said flowers, Sarah let me know they had arrived, awww! Made my day to see her smile!
As for us generally, still madly in love and seeing each other when we can. Had a lovely day last weekend cuddled up in bed watching Shaun the Sheep, a distant relation of Sarah's! ;) Will keep you updated!

What I do when I have spare time..

Hello guys!

Well I had a spare evening today, so I decided to have a little fun with some video software:

Quote of the Day!

"What Love is to me..well think of the heart as a half. It is built like that so when you meet your soul mate it connects to their half so it becomes a complete, inseparable half.Love is hard but worth it all, and especially when it involves a beautiful girl like you.
I know it is love because I can't imagine losing you.. ever. I still want you to be holding my hand when I am sixty. Love is about finding someone who will stand by you through everything and never let go of you no matter how hard it gets. You know I struggle with expressing emotions and putting them into words, but you also know I absolutely love you to pieces and I would be lost without you <3 xxx"

10 Things I love about Sarah!

Hello Everyone!

Well, this post is a bit unusual, but today I am going to list the top ten things I love about Sarah :D Just because there isn't that much to tell you currently! We are still engaged, still happy (Well I know I am!)  and are making headway with Sarah's family. I met her Nan, Granddad, Cousin and Uncle today, and I am going round to her house on Thursday and meeting her Dad! WOO!
So anyways my list. Here we Go:

1) Her smile - A traditional one, but still! It literally makes me feel warm inside. They range from a cheeky grin to 'I'm trying to laugh', and always make me feel better! LOVE them!! <3
2) Her 'Welshness' - Ok, so although I may constantly rip Sarah for being Welsh, associating with Sheep, wearing wellies and the suchlike, it's actually something I really like. Makes her unique, always a good conversation starter, and brilliant for joke material! (But don't tell her I said that!)
3) Her Sense of Humor - Though I consider myself to be the funniest person alive, Sarah is a prety close second. Generally I laugh at her, rather than with her, but still, she is what we would call a 'funny fucker' :D
4)  Her social awkwardness - Again, something that I laugh at rather than with. She ALWAYS says the wrong thing, at every time, she comes out with stuff that makes no sense at all, and I love it!
5) Her hugs - Simple, its like being engulfed in marshmallow, soft, warm, squishy, and inhaling her scent. Nothing I want more at any time of the day!
6) Her 'Unimpressed' face - I get this  a lot. Generally the face I get when I am being rude, winding her up, or making sexual comments, it looks a bit like a squished puffer fish, Its CUTE!
7) The Romantic texts -  These I get a lot too, generally at around 2am, and they normally are a list of reasons she loves me, how she feels about me, and our future aspirations. They always make me feel better, and I haven't deleted one yet!!
8) Her singing - Not something that happens very often, but when it does, she makes me fall further in love with her. She has a great voice, and really can sing, still trying to convince her to sing to me, maybe one day eh!?
9) Her guitar - A musical genius yet to be unleashed, Saz is a very skilled musician. I love the renditions of Harry Potter and Knights of Cydonia, and anything else she fancies along the way. Never fails o cheer me up.
10) Ooh, the big one! - So now, what do I love most about Sarah? This is difficult, but here goes. The thing I love most about Sarah is her hands. They are beautiful. One day if I can ever get her to sit still for long enough, I would like to draw them, just so I never forget. They are soft too. But the other thing about her hands I love is that, on her left hand, on the fourth finger, there is a ring. An amethyst engagement ring, which I bought her. So, I guess the thing I love most about her, is that she is mine, and I hope she always will be!

So for Sarah:

 Love you Baby!

We are engaged! :D

Hello everyone!

Well today was the big day! I popped the question, and Sarah said Yes! I am really happy. She is now my partner to be!! EXCITED!!
So, how did I do it? Well the original plan was to sing 'Marry You' by Bruno Mars with a guitar accompaniment, however there were a couple of problems with that. One, I cant sing. 2. I cant play the guitar part. So that was a no! So, I went for the more more traditional proposal, she seemed to like it!
We went for a romantic walk through my favorite park, and stopped by the Lake. We sat down for a bit and chatted, and assembled photo frames we had bought, We then both stood up to leave, and I caught her hand. She turned round at looked at me. I had been keeping the ring in my pocket ALL DAY waiting for the right moment! So I pulled it out of my pocket, and got down on one knee.
I must admit, she looked quite surprised, and had this cheeky smile, seeing as I had been joking about proposing for the last month! But when I opened the box, and she saw it had a ring in it, she looked pretty happy. I had actually planned what I was going to say, but at the actual moment, I was lost for words! I had a huge adrenaline rush and could feel my heart pounding! So, I said something from the heart:

"Sarah, I love you. I want to spend my life with you.You mean the world to me. So baby... Will you Marry Me?"

This is the engagement ring I chose!! (She likes it)

She knelt down, kissed me and said 'Yes'. I am not gonna lie, at that point I started crying, them lil' happy tears you get a crucial moments! We then went home, and let a couple of close friends know! So, now we are engaged! WOO!
I love Sarah, and thankfully she has been feeling better for the last couple of days, though nothing conclusive has been said regarding her health! We haven't told any of our parents yet, but I am sure we will do soon, when the time is right!

So, this is the newly engaged Hayley: Signing Off!

Meet the Parents! Yay!

 Hello again everyone!

Well, we are still waiting to hear back from the doctors as to Sarah's health, but we are both still here, and happy! I am seeing her tomorrow, very excited :D Sad I know, but still. So today, children, I shall tell you about when Sarah met my parents, because it was pretty funny for all of us! My parents are separated, so this post will also include how I came out to each of them...Hmmm haha!
Well, I told my Mum first. That was about 3 months before I met Sarah. I took her out shopping, and then to a restraunt. I though a public place would be best, as I wasn't too sure of her reaction. I actually said 'Mum, I am gay', and she nearly spat her drink all over the table, was pretty funny for me.:D She asked a couple of questions, and then I asked her what she thought. She said:

'I still love you the same.'

Now THAT is the kind of reaction I wish every parent had. I think it shocked her a little, but now she has got used to the idea, she has been really supportive of me and Sarah. Instead of asking, if I am coming round, she asks if we want to come round. She always sends Sarah her love at the end of every conversation. I wish all parents were like mine, in that sense. Sarah has been accepted as part of the family. I am so lucky everyone gets on so well!
As for telling my Dad, again, I chose a restraunt. Seeing as it worked with my Mum, I went for the same 'I have something to tell you Dad. I am gay.' angle. I was really unsure as to what my Dad would say, but there you go. He looked at me, and said:

'Well as long as you are happy, Darlin', it doesn't bother me! I am a bit surprised though.'

Apparently my hair and dress sense hadn't given it away. Well, who knows then!! So anyways, both of my parents knew, my brother had known for ages, though he guessed. Maybe he is smarter than I thought.. :) Nah, I love my big brother, he's such a lad :D (And clever too, regardless of what I may say!)

So, meet the parents! Well, she met my Dad, brother and Brothers Girlfriend all at the same time. My Dad is Mike, my brother is Ben, and his girlfriend is Jodie.  Originally the plan was for Sarah to meet just my Dad, as we were all going to the pub together to watch the rugby, England vs. Wales.  However, just before half time my brother decided he was coming with Jo, so Sarah got to meet them all at once! As it was an England game, obviously we were all supporting England.. except Sarah! Some of her family is Welsh therefore she was supporting the sheep.. well, we all make mistakes!! Well, as soon as my Dad realised, the Welsh jokes started. One of my personal favorites was:
'Why the hell would anyone pay to get over the bridge INTO Wales? I can understand coming OUT, but IN??!' LOL!
Well, after a few drinks, my Dad gave us the, 'You might be straight after puberty' talk. That was definitely amusing, LOL! So, after the game Dad dropped us back at mine! 5 minutes after we got in, he text me saying Sarah was great, he really liked her and he hoped to see us both again soon, Awww!

Meeting my Mum, again Ben came, except this time without Jo. We all went out to dinner, and had the usual normal discussions, though my brother made the mistake of describing a jig at work:
'It's MASSIVE! Anywhere between 6-8 inches depending on the job!'
Apparently my comment of  'Mate, 6 inches is NOTHING!' was not appreciated. My Mum nearly choked..oops! So then we all went home, after a lovely lunch together. That was pretty much when Sarah became part of the family, WOO!

So, now, once again, it is time for me to go, however I have a little something for Sarah before I do. This is a personal message from me to her, so i thought you would all like to see. Made particularly relevant due to the situation!

A Journey has it's ups and downs, but as long as you enjoy the ride, you know its worth it!!

Hello again everyone!

Today, I will tell you about the first family event I attend with Sarah's Aunt, Uncle and Cousin. But first, there is something else I must say. And this is one of the not so good parts of our journey together. Sarah isn't very well at the moment, and is attending a lot of appointments and things, so please forgive me if my blog is not as frequently updated as you would like! However, as she keeps telling me, she is a fighter, and I told her she had best get better quickly, because it would be a shame if she missed her own engagement party! :D

So, the BBQ! This BBQ was set-up by Sarah's Aunt's dance group. There were loads of people there, lots of family's, probably 80 in total. And get this.. THERE WAS A DANCE FLOOR! I may not be the most skilled of street dancers, but I make up for it with enthusiasm! :D (Micheal Jackson is a personal specialty!)
So, after a few introductions, we were all sitting and chilling and eating, all the good stuff! Then I decided to ask Sarah's Aunt to teach me to dance. Little did I relalise it was Latin/Flamenco/ballroom stuff. Nice. Sarah decided she wasn't going to dance, so I was the first of the under 40's to enter the dance floor. Sarah's best mate and cousin had also decided to watch before they tried. Good choice.

I made a total prat of myself, and was being told you go 'IN..OUT...IN...OUT!' which did not increase my dancing abilities, as I was trying so hard not to fall apart laughing. After ONE song, I gave up and returned to a lot of piss-taking and impressions at the top of the hill where we were sitting.
After a few hours of chilling, chatting and smoking (my three main talents!), Sarah showed me for the first time just how romantic she could be. She borrowed my iPod, and gave it to the DJ (Who was a bit rubbish incidentally).
Our song (God knows why) is Better Together by Jack Johnson. Lovely Acoustic love song, and quite appropriate for us as we are both guitarists, and 100% better together. (Awww.. I know!) So, as Sarah comes back up the Hill, our song starts. She came over, smiled at me, and put her hands round my waist. I put mine round her neck, and we slow danced in the sun in front of the entire BBQ. It remains one of my favorite moments together. <3

So, after this little moment, we sneaked off to have some time together. We went on a walk around the lake, and fund a secluded bench where we sat and discussed Sarah's family and their reaction to me, and I hate to say in proper teenage fashion participated in some rather passionate kissing :D (When there was no one looking obviously!)

After an hour or so, we returned to the BBQ, by which time some more music from this decade had come on. MY TIME TO SHINE! I grabbed Matt, Sarah's cousin and dragged him to the dance floor. He was just as enthusiastic as me, and I think we got a few odd looks as we danced club-style in the middle of the dance floor. We were soon joined by Sarah's mate, Matt's mate and Sarah. We then LITERALLY took over the dance floor.
I think we definitely got some dissaproving looks from some of the more elderly dancers. Apparently two girls grinding is not a good idea.. ;) But, after a few minutes, to my great surprise, Sarah's Aunt joined us! LOL! That DEFINITELY got some looks!
The last song was California Gurls by Katy Perry, one all 5 of us knew, which lead to a full-on rave on a wooden dance floor! I must admit, me and Matt do make a rather fantastic dance couple, though he was a BIT too enthusiastic about running his hands over me.. he did get some rather unimpressed looks from Sarah!

Hmm.. this post has been a particularly emotional one for me to write. I think this was the day I realised I loved Sarah, I loved all of her, every single bit. From the way she always drops herself in it, the way she challenged me to a sumo wrestle and got dump tackled (I missed that bit out to save her embarrassment...oops!). This is definitely made more apparent by the current situation. I LOVE YOU BABY! I know she will be reading this in about 5 mins, so I just thought I would put that out there! :)

So for this evening, this is Hayley: Signing off!

Ahhh - Results!

Hello Again!

Well, today my girl got her results! She did really well, and I am so proud of her! So now, I must continue my story, and carry on with how we got together. Well, I last left our story at the point where we said we liked each other...the scary bit was over! Little did I know, I yet had to pass friend vetting! A lovely entertaining experience, than most teenagers will go through at some point!
Friend vetting, for those of you who don't know, is the process where a close friend questions, (interrogates more like!) the potential boyfriend/girlfriend, to make sure that they are appropriate (good enough) for their friend.
So, the next part of the story! The day after our online conversation, where we both stated our interest, we decided to meet. I was in Sarah's area, so I texted her informing her thus. (Get my Shakespeareian language!)
This lead to myself and the friend I was with (Known as Lazer Beam) going for a little walk to Sarah's area where we met up. God, I swear, when she walked round the corner (that I had been watching for the last 20 mins, for the record!)  I nearly fainted. She left me breathless. People say attraction is the first step, but for me it was like a 5K run! WOW!
As I was saying, Sarah appeared, and we make polite small talk, (which was actually quite awkward, seeing as Lazer Beam knew I was into Sarah in a BIG way, and as you can imagine, two is company, three's a crowd!)  She then mentioned that one of her friends wanted to meet me. As she lived just around the corner, I said sure. We headed over, and as soon as we arrived, Sarah's mate came out.

Now here is the bit that I still can't mention or describe without laughing! As we were all talking, Sarah's friends Mum comes out. Turns out, Sarah hadn't been too discreet about who I was. Everyone knew! So, as she came outside, The Mum looks at Lazer Beam, and then myself, and shouts:

"So which one is it then?"

I am not gonna lie, it was awkward as arse before she had come out, and that pretty much shattered the ice. Sarah went bright red, and me and Lazer Beam howled with laughter. Ironic as it may seem, Lazer had just started a new relationship, so the idea of them two together was hilarious to us! Clearly, Sarah has told everyone she knew about me, and actually I was rather flattered!

Now the ice was broken, after a few more questions, I passed friend vetting! WOO! Sarah's friend then told me 'You two had better be together before you reach the end of my road!" No pressure then! At this point, Lazer decided to give us some time alooone, and went home.

So this leaves me and Sarah, walking down the road. Now I am not one for pressuring people. When it comes to being together, and all the couple things, like kissing, meeting each other's friends and that, I think everything happens in it's own time. I had no intention of making a move on Sarah, but I will admit, she read my mind.

As we walked down the street, she stopped, looked me straight in the eye, and offered me her hand.

N'awwwwwwww! <3

Walking down the street, hand in hand, we get to a little grassy area, and sit down. After more small talk I turn to look at Sarah, and catch her staring at me. I looked straight into her eyes, and said 'So..are you going to ask me then?' She looks back, and says 'Ask what?'
Me: 'Ask me to go out with you?'
Sarah: 'Ohh.. I was waiting for you to ask!'
'Me: 'Well I am not asking, it's up to you!'
Sarah: 'Ok. Will you go out with me?'

At this point, my heart started singing, I am not going to lie! I smiled and nodded. Now here is the sweet thing. We both lent forward, at the same time, and kissed. Our first kiss. So, the 15th of July 2011, the day we got together. The 15th of July, our first kiss. Cute eh?
We spent the next 2 hours chilling, watching the traffic and talking. Then I had to get home, so she walked me to the bus stop (cause I am cool and use public transport!) And I went home. Sorted!

So, now you know. That is how we got together!

Now next week children, we have a very special story... I just need to think of what to post next! A surprise it is!

The Sunset of the New Day!

Hello again!

I am back once more today, as I just finished the ironing, I am all excited about my new blog, so I thought I just had to do another post tonight! This one may well be a lil' shorter than the last, but nonetheless entertaining I hope! So this evening (morning technically), I shall tell you about when myself and Sarah got together, became an Item, started dating. You know, that THING! Mwahahahahaha!

And just a quick note, I should warn you all, at times, I am rude, inappropriate and downright harsh at times, however, always in an ironic/slightly sarcastic. highly amusing way! You poor people are going to experience the full force of my sense of humor, through both my story and just things I find funny, so you may want to get prepared :D (Like a Boy Scout, you know, do all the badges and that, JUST IN CASE you get attacked by a knife-wielding madman and have rope and have a chance to tie him up using your special Scout knots...just saying!)

So, how myself and Sarah got together! Well, again quite interesting, as when we met, neither of us thought the other was interested. YEAH RIGHT!After a couple of weeks and a quick Facebook stalk, I added her, and the online talks began! After a few days, I got to know Sarah pretty well, she was very honest, told me about bits and pieces that were quite personal to her, so I guess she trusted me pretty early on, Woo!
Well, the talking lead to discussion, discussion to disclosure, disclosure to casual flirting, and then, on Thursday the 14th of July (I am a sad git who knows the date :D) I told her I was interested. I actually expected to be knocked back, at this point I thought she was straight, having been given no more GAYDAR hints, and a discussion about her ex. But there you go! Biting the bullet has its perks :D
As it happened, Sarah was having a bad day. She was telling me about it, and the conversation went like this:

  • Hayley
    • anywys, id miss ya if ya werent here
    • u wanna know a secret?
  • 14 July
    Sarah
    • would you? and ok??
  • 14 July
    Hayley
    • yeh i would, cos I remebered you the first night we met, and i said to alex at the induction that a) i reckoned u were into women, and b) I LIKED YOU lol
  • 14 July
    Sarah
    • haha wna no summert?

  • Hayley
    • mm?
  • 14 July
    Sarah
I went straight to my mates house after the induction evening woke her up just to say i had met you and that i liked you..
  • 14 July
    Hayley
    :)

  • So, this was the start! The fact we liked each other was out there, and neither of us knew what to do about it! And this brings us on to Sarah's Mum! I wont go in to detail, as I need to go to Bed soon, but at the moment, she is not being very accepting of Sarah and Myself. She hasn't been from the start, along with several others from Sarah's family. Therefore, at this point, Sarah was a little worried about actually going out with me, due to her family's reaction, and I knew it!

Sorry to leave ya hanging guys, but that is part of the fun of being a blogger! You shall all have to come back and read tomorrow!

     Hayley: Signing off!

    <3

A New Dawn, a New Day! :)

Welcome!
Congratulations! If you are reading this, you are now officially in on my biggest secret! I am in love. 100%, full-blown, head of heels LOVE!

If you are still reading, clearly I have interested you in this little story! WOO! So here we go, I shall begin. I have a girlfriend. Her name is Sarah, and we have been together for around 6 weeks. However, today, i decided that I am going to ask her to Marry me. I know, 6 weeks eh?

'Young love, doing it for the hell of it. At seventeen you cant KNOW what love is, it is a crush, not TRUE love! You are too young to know what THAT is!' (I have had this all said to me in the past 2 weeks)

Well, I disagree.

When I look at my girl, I feel breathless. Honest to God, yesterday I looked at her and nearly passed out, She was sleeping, bless her, and she is just beautiful. But it's not about how she looks on the outside. (Though she is absolutely Gorgeous!) I love what I see on the inside. She is talented (she doesn't know it yet, though I keep telling her). She is clever, so much it surprises me at times! She is funny, I mean some of the stuff she says has me literally crying with laughter. Then she feels guilty, oops! :D But the one thing, the thing I love MOST about Sarah, is her ATTITUDE: The way she deals with things everyday. Neither of us have had a great start in life, but it has't stopped us. Everyday, no matter what life throws at her, she smiles. She cares. What more could I ask for?

 So anyway, my Blog.
I am writing this, so that one day, I can show her how much she means to me. I want to tell you all a story, the one of how we met, and how we fell in love. Also, as a little sideline, I would also like to show the people of the world that LOVE is everything. It doesn't matter, man and woman, man and man, or in this case two women, (But I like to think of us as Girls). Love is still Love. I am happy, I want to be with Sarah. and nothing will stop us. For all the homophobics out there, I hope this blog will be a vertical V-sign to those who think we are evil, corrupting children and the lowest of the low. We are still people, we have emotions, thoughts and feelings too!

So anyways, today, I will tell you the start of our story, And as with all stories of love, I shall begin with the day we met!
Myself and Sarah actually met at a local Youth group. So, the day we met was the introduction evening for the group, as all new members had to attend a little meeting to let us all know what we were letting ourselves in for! I went with one of my best friends, Alex, as he is in the Group too. The meeting was held in this lecture theater, with rows of seats, and me being me, all gangsta and that, sat at the bag, being all gangsta, as ya do! :D
Two minutes later. Enter SARAH! I didn't actually KNOW she was called Sarah at this point, but still. She was with her Mum, (who I will get on to later), and she sat in the row in front of me.

Now, I know that many people don't believe in it, But i have a GAYDAR! Every gay has one, I think, and mine was sent spinning and whirring and all the other sound effects when I spotted my girlfriend-to-be. I liked her, simple as. Now here is the funny bit, we sat there all evening, and never spoke, except an identical laughing moment at key moment during the evening. As we left, I grabbed Alex, and pulled him away for a quick chat. I actually said to him, and I quote:

' Mate, you know that girl in the row in front of us? Two things. One, I reckon she is gay. Two, I wanna go out with her!'

So, there you have it, this was how we first met! We didn't know it yet, but we were going to end up together, and hopefully married when I pluck up the courage to ask her. Though I think she may have been dropping a hint when she said 'I would marry you Hayley, even if you proposed with a Haribo ring!' :)

Now, it is time for me to go and do some ironing, because I need a shirt for tomorrow, when Sarah get's her Exam results! Tomorrow, I will tell you the next part of our story, and I hope that some of you return to read it!

For the first time on my new blog,

  This is Hayley: Signing Off!
